14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all subscription plans (Basic, Starter, Creator, and Studio). If you are not satisfied with Exactum, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase date.
Eligibility Conditions
To qualify for a refund, the following conditions must be met:
- The refund request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date
- You must have consumed less than 60 minutes of transcription at the time of the request
- The refund applies to the first billing cycle only — renewal charges are not eligible for the money-back guarantee
What Is Not Refundable
- Minute packs — one-time minute pack purchases are non-refundable as they are consumed immediately upon use
- Subscription renewals — the 14-day guarantee applies only to your first subscription payment. Subsequent monthly or yearly renewals are not covered. You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.
- Accounts with 60 or more minutes of transcription used — if you have consumed 60 minutes or more of transcription, the service has been substantially delivered and a refund is not available
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact our support team at exactum.ai/contact with the email address associated with your account. Please include:
- Your account email address
- The date of purchase
- The reason for your refund request
We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe
- Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer
- Upon refund, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan immediately
- Any transcriptions saved during the paid period will remain accessible according to the Free plan's 7-day history retention
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or through the dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges but does not trigger an automatic refund. Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving any issues fairly and promptly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension.
